This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist customers and third-party administrators with the implementation, testing, and support of inbound data connections.
• Diagnose transmission or formatting issues for external clients and internal processing areas.
• Serve as a bridge between the business community and IT.
• Provide technology vendors and plan holders with plan-specific requirements based on Guardian’s internal systems and standard formats.
• Comprehend vendor and plan-holder data capabilities and offer solutions for non-standard situations and formats.
• Address internal and external inquiries related to connections.
• Conduct comprehensive user acceptance testing of inbound eligibility files.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through clients’ preferred communication channels.
• Manage intricate calls that necessitate leadership in navigating complex technical data issues.
• Participate in training, job sharing, mentoring, and networking events.
• Uphold procedural guidelines and report any system-related issues.
• Engage in team meetings and assist colleagues in achieving deadlines and meeting customer expectations.
• Report to the GBO Team Leader, who in turn reports to the GBO Director.
• Experience with HIPAA data files is essential.
• Proficient computer skills: Text Pad or other EDI file viewing applications and MS Excel.
• Strong capability to manipulate data files to generate output in various formats.
• Adaptability in managing multiple tasks, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and cultivate strong working relationships.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• College degree is preferred.
• Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, both now and in the future.
