Data Entry Specialist – Medical Records

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accurately input and update patient information in both internal and client-facing systems.

• Access and navigate various EMR platforms to retrieve, validate, and process protected health information (PHI).

• Ensure data accuracy and consistency while achieving productivity targets.

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and company privacy regulations.

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance process improvements and service quality.

• Deliver courteous, prompt, and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.

• Comprehend the organization’s information governance program and individual responsibilities.

• Engage in required educational and compliance training.

• Report any unethical, fraudulent, or illegal activities.

• Maintain current HIPAA certification on an annual basis.

• Adhere to HIPAA standards and relevant corporate integrity and security requirements.
