• Design, maintain, and automate ETL/ELT workflows, ensuring data quality, integrity, and accessibility.

• Create, enhance, and monitor data pipelines within cloud environments.

• Manage substantial data volumes, focusing on performance, scalability, and dependability.

• Drive continuous enhancements in data ingestion, transformation, and delivery workflows.

• Assist in data governance, quality assurance, and information security initiatives.

• Conduct data analysis and cleansing to fulfill analytical and operational needs.

• Generate and sustain technical documentation concerning data processes and workflows.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend and realize business requirements.

• Contribute to the advancement of data engineering methodologies and development best practices.

• Background in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT, and the development of data pipelines.

• Expertise in SQL for querying, modeling, and optimizing performance.

• Proficient in Python for data processing and transformation tasks.

• Familiarity with Databricks, including the creation of notebooks, pipeline development, and distributed processing.

• Experience in cloud environments, particularly Azure.

• Understanding of Azure Data Lake and other services within the platform's data ecosystem.

• Proficient in relational databases, especially SQL Server.

• Knowledgeable in relational and dimensional data modeling as well as Data Lake-based architectures.

• Grasp of data quality, governance, and data management best practices.

• Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach to work.

• Preferred:

• Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and consumption.

• Experience in projects within the Insurance industry.

• Knowledge of DataOps, CI/CD, and pipeline automation.

• Experience with Lakehouse architecture.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
