This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes in cloud environments.

• Design and optimize data models in Snowflake, focusing on performance and cost management.

• Create transformations and models in dbt, applying best practices and promoting reuse.

• Design analytical data models and ensure the quality of the solutions provided.

• Collaborate with business, BI, and architecture teams to transform analytical needs into data solutions.

• Work with Git, handling deployments, code reviews, and technical documentation.

• Integrate long-term into the Cívica team and grow alongside the company.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer in data projects.

• Strong experience in at least one of the following cloud/data warehouse environments: Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.

• Hands-on experience with dbt, developing models, transformations, tests, and documentation.

• Advanced SQL skills for developing and optimizing queries and data processes.

• Experience in analytical data modeling: dimensional models, data layers, data marts, or similar.

• Proficient in Git and development best practices: version control, code review, data validation, and quality assurance.

• Experience in complex cloud environments or with high data volumes, focusing on optimization and scalability is a plus.
