Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Assist in the maintenance and support of the production Data Lake, including the transformations and reports hosted in Databricks.

• Oversee the health of the data pipelines and conduct investigations to resolve data-related issues.

• Enhance and maintain the current Python-based transformation logic.

• Provide support to end users and stakeholders regarding data-related inquiries and incidents.

• Document all changes and ensure that the technical documentation for the platform is current and accurate.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of practical experience with Databricks in a production setting.

• Proficient in Python, including the ability to read, maintain, debug, and enhance existing code.

• Background in supporting or maintaining data pipelines and transformation processes.

• Dependable, responsive, and capable of independently managing a live system.

• Basic understanding of Azure and cloud data platform deployments (preferred).

• Experience in a support or maintenance role on an established data platform (preferred).

• Must have the legal right to work in Poland, with or without visa sponsorship.

• English proficiency level must be stated in the application.
