Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Develop and enhance data processing solutions utilizing Python and Apache Spark.

• Create and support real-time data streaming applications using Kafka.

• Architect and implement enterprise data solutions using Snowflake.

• Construct cloud-native data architectures and services on AWS.

• Ensure data quality, reliability, scalability, and performance throughout the data ecosystem.

• Diagnose, monitor, and optimize production data pipelines.

• Engage in technical discussions, code reviews, and initiatives for engineering best practices.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support data-driven business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering.

• Extensive experience with Python development.

• Practical experience with Apache Spark.

• In-depth knowledge of Snowflake.

• Experience in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Familiarity with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.

• Experience with AWS cloud services.

• Understanding of data modeling and data warehousing principles.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in distributed teams.

• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher.
