Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Construct and enhance data transformations for analytics and reporting purposes.

• Develop and uphold data models, datasets, and integration solutions.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability through rigorous testing and monitoring.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to data pipelines and performance.

• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders.

• Contribute to cloud-based data platforms.

• Engage in code reviews and technical discussions.

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

• Continuously enhance data processes and platform performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.

• Proficient in English at an upper-intermediate level.

• Strong expertise in SQL and a solid understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling.

• Practical experience with Python for data processing and automation tasks.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Hands-on familiarity with Databricks and Apache Spark.

• Experience with Snowflake.

• Insight into data warehousing and contemporary data platform concepts.

• Experience in cloud environments, ideally AWS.

• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and best practices in software engineering.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication abilities.
