Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain robust data pipelines from various TMS and other data sources.

• Design and execute new data structures or enhance existing ones to meet changing business needs.

• Build and manage the Data Vault, Data Warehouse, and Data Marts to provide essential metrics to operational and business stakeholders.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, executives, clients, engineers, and external vendors.

• Deliver vital metrics across a range of functional areas.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish; proficient in both verbal and written communication.

• Bachelor's Degree required (or equivalent experience), ideally in Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of technology experience with Amazon Relational Database Service (Aurora, MySQL), Microsoft SQL Server, or Snowflake.

• Outstanding SQL development and performance tuning abilities.

• Familiarity with TMS, WMS, or other enterprise logistics platforms is a significant advantage.

• Experience with Data Vault 2.0 is a considerable plus.

• Knowledge of Fivetran is a strong benefit.

• Proficient in Azure Data Factory is a strong advantage.

• Experience with REST API is a significant plus.

• Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Creative thinker with a strong intellectual curiosity, passionate about solving challenges and continuous learning.

• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, highly adaptable, and capable of taking initiative in a rapidly changing environment.
