Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Convert raw utility and geospatial information into precise digital twin models of electrical networks.

• Assist in the comprehensive deployment of the Neara platform for utility clients globally.

• Ingest and handle extensive datasets from LiDAR, GIS, and asset databases using Neara’s schema language and configuration framework.

• Conduct thorough QA/QC to ensure that digital twins accurately represent real-world physics and adhere to customer requirements.

• Develop tailored reports and dashboards within the platform for utility engineers.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to enhance processes and tools.

• Facilitate faster future deployments and automate essential deployment processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Integration Engineer, Software Engineer, or a related position.

• Proficient in at least one major programming language, such as SQL or Python, with the capability to learn additional languages.

• Ability to acquire and master a new schema language for data manipulation and report generation.

• Exceptional written communication skills.

• Experience in contributing to internal knowledge bases and external user documentation.

• Capability to clearly convey technical configurations to diverse audiences in fluent English.

• Preferred background in engineering, mathematics, software engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.

• Familiarity with GIS, CAD geoprocessing, or LiDAR data is advantageous.

• Skill in analyzing complex data discrepancies and systematically reconfiguring models to achieve 100% accuracy.
