Data Delivery Engineer – Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and oversee every element of the Snowflake data sharing environment, which includes configuration, replication, access controls, and performance enhancement.

• Manage data feed pipelines (SFTP, S3 bucket, and other delivery methods) from start to finish, ensuring timely and precise delivery.

• Design and sustain custom tables, views, and transformations within Snowflake to fulfill client-specific needs.

• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of data lineage—connecting delivered data to source documents and upstream systems.

• Conduct live walkthroughs and data feed demonstrations of Snowflake for potential clients.

• Engage in consultative and troubleshooting discussions, diagnosing and resolving data delivery challenges on behalf of clients.

• Oversee ongoing client relationships related to Snowflake integrations and data feeds.

• Proactively detect, investigate, and avert data issues within shares and feeds before they affect clients.

• Assist in establishing monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks for data delivery pipelines.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data sharing processes, file formats, and integration settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience working with Snowflake, with a strong preference for data sharing, replication, and administration.

• Proficient in data delivery methods such as SFTP, S3, and cloud-based data sharing.

• Strong SQL expertise with experience in creating and modifying views, tables, and stored procedures.

• Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration and monitoring tools.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills; comfortable leading demonstrations and engaging in client-facing discussions.

• Experience with data lineage principles and metadata management.

• Knowledge of GCP is considered a plus.

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, mathematics, data science, or a related field.

• Ability to work during east coast hours.
