This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• You will oversee Data Center and Advanced Technology projects, collaborating closely with field leads, clients, vendors, and internal support teams.
• Direct overall project execution: scope, scheduling, risk management, quality assurance, and stakeholder coordination.
• Maintain a comprehensive and detailed understanding of project scope and contract specifications.
• Facilitate jobsite readiness, prioritize daily tasks, and eliminate constraints with field leadership.
• Ensure a robust turnover process: documentation, punch/deficiency resolution, and client handover support.
• Guide and assist project team members (including project engineers, coordinators, and site leadership).
• Mentor, coach, and develop project engineers to foster rapid growth.
• Set clear expectations, enhance morale, and cultivate a culture of high accountability and support.
• Manage project controls: budgeting, forecasting, cost management, billing, collections, change management, and cash flow.
• Provide precise monthly status reports (including schedule, costs, risks, and key milestones).
• Take responsibility for project completion, financial results, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee planning and scheduling activities; coordinate sequencing among trades and vendors.
• Manage schedule updates, look-ahead planning, and milestone tracking to ensure teams remain aligned and progressing.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management (experience with mission critical/data center projects is highly beneficial).
• Proven experience leading complex MEP/electrical/controls/commissioning-intensive scopes on fast-track projects (ideally 5–10+ years of total experience).
• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is advantageous; equivalent experience and/or a robust technical background (electrical, mechanical, I&C/BAS) will also be considered.
• PM credentials such as PMP are highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, procurement, RFIs/submittals, change management, and client communications effectively in high-pressure settings.
• Strong understanding of building processes, systems, and project delivery essentials, including QA/QC, safety protocols, and turnover/closeout documentation.
• Proven expertise in cost estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and project financial oversight.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and commonly used project management tools (PM software, cost management/accounting software, scheduling software).
• Excellent communication and listening skills; capable of resolving complex issues calmly and effectively.
• Proven track record of boosting team morale and leading through accountability and support.
