This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• You will oversee Data Center and Advanced Technology projects, collaborating closely with field leads, clients, vendors, and internal support teams.
• Lead the overall project execution by managing scope, schedule, risk, quality, and stakeholder coordination.
• Maintain a thorough and detailed understanding of project scope and contract requirements.
• Drive jobsite readiness, prioritize daily tasks, and facilitate the removal of constraints with field leadership.
• Ensure a robust turnover process, including documentation, punch/deficiency closure, and client handover support.
• Guide and support project team members, including project engineers, coordinators, and site leadership.
• Mentor, coach, and foster the development of project engineers for swift growth.
• Set expectations, boost morale, and cultivate a high-accountability/high-support culture.
• Oversee project controls, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, billings, collections, change management, and cash flow.
• Provide accurate monthly status reports on schedule, cost, risks, and key milestones.
• Be accountable for project completion, financial outcomes, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead planning and scheduling activities, coordinating sequencing across trades and vendors.
• Manage schedule updates, look-ahead planning, and milestone tracking to keep teams aligned and progressing.
• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in commercial construction (experience with mission critical/data center projects is highly advantageous).
• Experience in leading complex MEP/electrical/controls/commissioning-heavy scopes on fast-track projects (ideally 5–10+ years of total experience).
• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience or a strong trade/technical background (electrical, mechanical, I&C/BAS) will be considered.
• Project Management credentials such as PMP are highly beneficial.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, procurement, RFIs/submittals, change management, and client communication in high-pressure environments.
• Strong understanding of building processes, systems, and project delivery fundamentals, including QA/QC, safety, and turnover/closeout documentation.
• Demonstrated expertise in cost estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and project financial controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and common project tools (PM software, cost management/accounting software, scheduling software).
• Excellent communication and listening abilities; capable of resolving complex issues calmly and effectively.
• Proven track record of building team morale and leading through accountability and support.
