Data Center Sourcing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture relationships with colocation providers and data center operators on a global scale.

• Ensure continuous visibility into available capacity across major data center markets.

• Assist in sourcing activities for various deployments, including single rack setups, private cages, enterprise colocation, and larger infrastructure projects.

• Manage RFI/RFP processes in collaboration with operators and suppliers.

• Identify and evaluate suitable facilities based on criteria such as location, power availability, cooling capabilities, connectivity options, commercial terms, and deployment schedules.

• Maintain internal tracking systems and databases that encompass supplier contacts, pricing data, capacity availability, and market insights.

• Aid in commercial discussions and the collection of quotes from operators.

• Keep abreast of developments in the data center market, including new facility openings, supply constraints, pricing trends, and emerging markets.

• Collaborate closely with sales and technical teams to support customer initiatives.

• Represent the organization at relevant industry events, conferences, and partner meetings.

• Cultivate a deep understanding of global data center market dynamics and actively engage within the industry.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in the data center, colocation, cloud infrastructure, telecom, or related sectors.

• Knowledge of colocation and data center services.

• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.

• Capacity to handle multiple sourcing requests concurrently.

• Exceptional organizational and coordination skills.

• Strong commercial awareness and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Proactive and relationship-oriented approach to market engagement and supplier management.
