This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Capture, analyze, and document business requirements pertaining to data, reporting, and analytics initiatives.
• Convert stakeholder needs into precise user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Assist the Product Owner with backlog management, prioritization, and feature clarification.
• Work collaboratively with Data Engineers, BI Developers, and business stakeholders to outline data requirements, KPI definitions, and reporting needs.
• Examine source systems, data flows, and reporting processes to uncover business and data requirements.
• Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and requirement clarification meetings.
• Contribute to the creation of functional specifications, process flows, data mapping, and solution documentation.
• Over 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Data, BI, Analytics, or Data Warehouse projects.
• Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements effectively.
• Experience collaborating with Product Owners, Developers, Data Engineers, BI teams, and business stakeholders.
• Capacity to forge strong relationships and communicate effectively across both technical and business teams.
• Proficient in analyzing database structures and understanding data relationships.
• Familiarity with database objects such as tables, views, procedures, and functions.
• Knowledge of data architectures, including OLTP, OLAP, Data Warehouse, and Data Lake concepts.
• Practical experience with SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Experience with Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Understanding of UML and BPMN.
• Proficient in using modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect, Visual Paradigm, draw.io, or similar.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple concurrent requests and priorities.
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Understanding of dimensional modeling concepts, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
• Proven experience in defining KPIs, metrics, and reporting solutions.
• Previous experience as a Product Owner or Proxy Product Owner.
• Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
