This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and implement Microsoft Fabric architectures that integrate OneLake, Power BI, data engineering, real-time analytics, Copilot experiences, Azure AI services, and Generative AI patterns.
• Lead the development of AI-enabled solution patterns, which encompass retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, embedding pipelines, prompt orchestration, semantic search, and AI-driven analytics workflows.
• Construct and validate proofs of concept, prototypes, reusable accelerators, reference architectures, and implementation templates.
• Oversee project teams and guide both coworker and client teams in solution design and development.
• Develop business cases, financial justifications, and solution benefit materials for client deliverables and presentations.
• Provide oversight for technical solutions across various projects.
• Address or escalate issues related to project budgets.
• Conduct quality assurance and peer reviews of technical deliverables.
• Maintain client relationships in the capacity of a trusted Technical Advisor.
• Act as the main point of communication between departments and clients.
• Recommend solutions and assist account teams with proposals, quotations, and presentations.
• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of IT Infrastructure experience, including a minimum of 3 years on large enterprise cross-brand projects, or 11+ years of IT Infrastructure experience with the same requirements.
• Experience in enterprise data platform implementation, analytics, AI-enabled solutions delivery, or consulting focused on Microsoft Fabric.
• Hands-on expertise in designing, building, implementing, troubleshooting, and optimizing Microsoft Fabric solutions, including Data Engineering, Data Factory, OneLake, Direct Lake, semantic models, pipelines, notebooks, and Power BI.
• Practical experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Copilot, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, prompt engineering, grounding patterns, and AI service integration.
• Strong skills in data engineering and implementation, including SQL, Python, Spark or PySpark, modern ELT patterns, and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to configure, test, and optimize solutions directly within the platform.
• Capability to define and implement data governance, AI governance, security, and responsible AI controls, encompassing RBAC, data classification, auditability, sensitivity labeling, prompt protection, content safety, and secure handling of sensitive data.
• Competence to take a leading technical role in reviewing and refining deliverables created by Engineering and Consulting teams.
• Technical proficiency in analyzing client requirements and developing IT service offerings across multiple technology solutions.
• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience delivering technology recommendations from a business standpoint to both internal and external clients.
• Ability to research complex technology solutions, assess alternatives, make recommendations, and present findings to clients.
• Capability to work effectively and calmly amidst change, ambiguity, and risk.
• Experience in applying lessons learned to unique challenges and reskilling on new technologies.
• Willingness and ability to travel as necessary to other CDW locations or client sites.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license is required.
