Data Architect – Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Define and execute data architecture, governance, standards, and best practices.

• Evaluate and estimate data solutions to meet business requirements.

• Lead the design of solutions in data projects as a Data Architect.

• Provide hands-on contributions when necessary.

• Ensure coherence with global architecture frameworks across different teams.

• Serve as the primary liaison for cloud partners and internal stakeholders.

• Develop Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to assess emerging technologies.

• Remain updated on data trends and engage in continuous learning.

• Design and implement scalable, comprehensive data architectures across SGS.

• Convert business requirements into solid, cloud-based solutions.

• Architect and deploy both batch and real-time data solutions.

• Collaborate with global stakeholders.

• Promote the adoption of Azure, Snowflake, DBT, and Power BI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering solution and reference architectures.

• Established track record in end-to-end data solution delivery.

• User-centered approach.

• Willingness to travel when necessary.

• Excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders.

• Proficiency in English.

• Over 6 years of experience in Azure-based cloud/hybrid data and ML solutions.

• Strong expertise in data modeling (dimensional).

• Familiarity with Snowflake, DBT, ADF, and Power BI.

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric is advantageous.

• Proficient in SQL and Python; C# knowledge is a plus.

• Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps / GitHub.

• Proven leadership and team coordination abilities.

• Capability to manage internal and external delivery teams.

• Strong documentation and communication skills.
