This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Macedonia.
• Reconstruct three-dimensional power grid networks utilizing point cloud (LiDAR) and mapping (GIS) data.
• Position 3D elements such as poles, lines, and conductors to accurately reflect real-world physical configurations.
• Align original two-dimensional map data with three-dimensional models.
• Annotate high-resolution drone imagery to identify grid components and spot structural anomalies.
• Contribute to the development of precise and dependable digital twins for power grids and critical infrastructure.
• Assist in AI and physics-based simulations employed by energy companies to assess network conditions, forecast risks, and strategize maintenance.
• A background in GIS, Geodesy, Cartography, Land Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong spatial reasoning skills and the ability to navigate three-dimensional environments with ease.
• Proficient in English at a B2 level (capable of reading instructions, viewing training materials, and communicating effectively).
• High attention to detail, adept problem-solving abilities, and a readiness to learn from feedback.
• A PC/laptop equipped with an Intel i7-11800H (or an equivalent/better CPU), a dedicated GPU (NVIDIA T1200 or superior; RTX 4060 recommended), and a minimum of 16 GB RAM (32 GB preferred).
• A basic understanding of power grids or prior experience with LiDAR data is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Full-time schedule (9 hours per day, including a 1-hour lunch break).
• Standard business hours from 09:00/10:00 to 18:00/19:00 EEST.
