Data and AI Lead – Agentic Tax Processes and Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Create workflows for tax processes that define agent responsibilities at the task level, establish communication patterns between agents, incorporate human-in-the-loop and escalation models, and implement feedback loops alongside performance monitoring and evaluations.

• Develop reusable agent blueprints that adhere to Lean-derived task definitions.

• Utilize cutting-edge agentic-driven design and development methodologies.

• Design and supervise the construction of AI-ready data marts that present tax data at the appropriate granularity while ensuring lineage and quality controls are in place, supporting reasoning capabilities.

• Lead the ingestion and transformation of data from ERP systems, tax platforms, semi-structured documents, and external data sources.

• Employ design-led thinking to integrate governance and security for agents and workflows.

• Architect solutions that can be deployed within client environments and EY-hosted platforms.

• Serve as the technical authority within the Center of Excellence, creating reference architectures, patterns, and accelerators.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or equivalent professional experience.

• Advanced certifications in AI, machine learning, cloud computing, or data engineering are highly beneficial.

• Over 15 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, and analytics, including SQL database construction, database design, and data modeling.

• Practical experience with modern data platforms and AI tools such as Azure ML, Databricks, MLflow, LangChain, and LangGraph.

• Strong foundation in data modeling, data governance, quality assurance, and large-scale data integration.

• Direct experience applying AI/ML or advanced analytics in production environments.

• Proficient in programming or scripting languages, including C++, Java, Python, and key ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, PySpark, scikit-learn, Hugging Face Transformers).

• Ability to collaborate effectively with both business stakeholders and data & AI engineers.

• Experience in shaping technical strategy and operating models.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and an insatiable desire to learn and stay updated with technological advancements.
