Data Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work alongside stakeholders to collect and document business requirements.

• Perform feasibility studies and offer recommendations for analytics solutions.

• Create scalable and maintainable analytics solutions.

• Develop technical specifications and data models.

• Extract data from source systems, including DJMS and IPPS-A.

• Load data into the Databricks warehouse and prepare it for analysis.

• Construct custom datasets for dashboard applications.

• Design interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI.

• Execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.

• Deploy solutions into production environments and confirm successful implementation.

• Provide continuous support and maintenance for implemented solutions.

• Diagnose and resolve issues as they arise.

• Implement enhancements and updates as necessary.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, which includes requirements, specifications, architecture diagrams, design documents, and deployment plans.

• Develop user guides and training materials for end-users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

• 3-10 years of applicable work experience.

• Over 3 years of experience in Power Platform development (Apps, Automate, BI).

• More than 3 years of experience with SQL.

• At least 3 years of experience with Python.

• Familiarity with Databricks (Data Intelligence Platforms).

• Experience with Army Vantage.

• Proficiency in data cleansing, data preparation, and data translation.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.

• Ability to manage delegated tasks and development responsibilities.

• Active Secret security clearance.

• Experience in supporting DoD stakeholders and leadership is preferred.
