Data Analytics Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assist stakeholders in making informed, data-driven decisions

• Collaborate with various InPost departments and business lines

• Collect requirements and leverage large-scale, real-time data from multiple sources

• Analyze data and generate insights and recommendations regarding critical business areas and processes

• Design, create, and enhance data model layers that support optimized and scalable calculations and visualizations

• Develop maintainable code that adheres to internal coding standards, best practices, and high-scale data environment requirements

• Uphold and promote coding standards through code reviews

• Work together with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business Analysts to deliver cohesive data solutions

• Prototype and manage data visualizations

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in an analytical position dealing with large volumes of data

• Experience in data modeling and implementing complex data-driven solutions is highly desirable

• Strong expertise in Python/PySpark for data analysis

• Proficient in SQL for data processing

• Knowledge of Bash scripting for managing Git repositories

• Ability to derive meaningful and actionable insights from complex data and clearly communicate recommendations to business stakeholders

• Understanding of data warehousing, including dimensional data modeling and ETL/ELT processes

• Skill in translating business requirements into data models

• Familiarity with real-time data and capability to request and manage data from backend and frontend systems, including both internal and external platforms

• Capacity to work independently and manage multiple workstreams concurrently

• Effectiveness in collaborating with cross-functional teams

• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written

• Ability to read or communicate in French is advantageous

• Experience with Apache Spark in Databricks is a bonus

• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms like GCP, Azure, or AWS is beneficial

• Knowledge of Apache Airflow or DBT is a plus

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is an advantage

• Understanding of data governance principles and practices is a plus

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment
