Data Analyst, Supply Chain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee API-driven workflows to facilitate smooth communication between our primary business platforms and external logistics partners.

• Design, construct, and sustain automated pipelines to gather and direct data across various internal and external databases and tools.

• Engage in hands-on data analysis (e.g., monitoring average shipping times, inventory flows, etc.) and create automated spreadsheets and/or dashboards for stakeholders.

• Implement error handling, alert notifications, and other measures to ensure that data workflows operate reliably and accurately.

• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Engineering teams to establish KPIs, reporting requirements, and data quality standards across supply chain processes.

• Conduct root cause analysis on operational challenges and propose process enhancements that lower costs, enhance inventory accuracy, and boost logistics performance.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for data models, integrations, workflows, and reporting systems to support long-term scalability and knowledge transfer.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in data analysis, data engineering, workflow automation, or related technical roles.

• Strong foundational knowledge of data structures and data management, applicable to both big data using cloud databases and small data utilizing Excel & Google Sheets.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and at least one additional programming language (preferably Python or Javascript).

• Expertise in modern AI-driven development, including AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex), Model Context Protocol (MCP), configuration of Skills, sub-agents, etc., alongside familiarity with well-known AI orchestration frameworks like Langgraph, OpenAI API/SDK, Gemini API/SDK, etc.

• Experience in designing data models and transforming data from various operational systems into clean, trustworthy datasets for reporting and analysis.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to convert complex data into actionable business insights for non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects, prioritize competing demands, and deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment.
