Data Analyst, Slovak

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Assess, evaluate, and enhance the quality of outputs from multilingual text classifiers.

• Detect patterns in data inconsistencies and aid in the refinement of rules, logic, and workflows.

• Collaborate with linguistics and engineering teams to create and enhance language-specific parsers.

• Translate and validate taxonomy content, including Skills, Titles, and Occupations, between English and Slovak as needed.

• Clearly document findings and adhere to established processes to maintain consistency and quality.

• Assist in the global expansion of product features for a client.

• Work alongside linguistics and engineering teams in a dynamic, data-driven environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in reading and writing both Slovak and English, with a keen eye for linguistic detail.

• Knowledgeable in syntax and structural language analysis.

• Skilled in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, functions, and data cleaning techniques.

• Familiarity with query languages such as SQL.

• Advanced experience in writing and troubleshooting rules using RegEx.

• Understanding of text analysis, NLP, or the fundamentals of machine learning.

• Experience in conducting data analysis with tools like Excel and/or Python.

• Comfortable handling high-volume, repetitive tasks while ensuring precision and concentration.

• Capable of following intricate instructions, navigating uncertainty, and working autonomously.

• Strong sense of urgency, organizational skills, and time management abilities.

• Access to a reliable laptop and stable internet connection.

• Applicants must already possess legal authorization to work in their country of residence.

• A Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Data Analytics, NLP, or a related discipline is preferred.
