Data Analyst Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Review both ingested and system-generated data for inconsistencies and deficiencies, tracing them back to their origin.

• Develop and execute QA checks, generate reports, and create automations utilizing Python and SQL.

• Provide support to Data Analysts with daily customer data inquiries and maintenance of dashboards.

• Assist in integrating new data sources by linking carrier and market data into the system.

• Document findings and work processes for team reference.

• Collaborate with Data Analysts and Data Scientists while reporting to the Data Lead.

• Examine unforeseen data issues to pinpoint root causes and uphold prediction accuracy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a final-year degree program or have recently graduated in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related discipline.

• Proficient understanding of Python and SQL.

• Capability to write SQL queries and Python scripts.

• Eagerness to learn about the domain, product, data, and customer needs.

• Skill in investigating unexpected data issues and proactively asking questions.

• Competence in using AI tools responsibly, validating their results, and articulating the work done.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Empathy towards customers and a sense of urgency in addressing their needs.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

• Comfortable in a diverse, fully remote working environment.
