This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Provide a comprehensive business solution to the operations team utilizing a Power BI interface.
• Create analytical dashboards, reports, and queries that facilitate strategic business decisions, ad-hoc analysis, and both descriptive and prescriptive solutions.
• Develop dashboards by grasping business requirements, interpreting integrated data, and converting data into actionable visual representations.
• Engage with business stakeholders to assess their needs and prioritize product development efforts.
• Innovate analytical solutions to enhance data maturity and integration processes.
• Foster entrepreneurial innovation in analytical products and curate new data sources.
• Provide actionable insights that extend beyond mere data reporting and dashboard creation.
• Act as a primary user of Ryder's Azure Data Lake and spearhead analytics initiatives.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts and Data Scientists.
• Mentor and support junior team members to help them succeed.
• Work closely with technology teams during product development, testing, and release phases using agile methodologies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field, Required.
• Proven experience in developing BI solutions using Power BI.
• Proficiency in Tableau, Required.
• Familiarity with ETL tools such as Alteryx or SSIS.
• Experience with SQL data manipulation tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in business terms, Required.
• Experience in supporting product innovation through build, test, and release phases using agile methodologies, Required.
• At least 2 years of experience creating dashboards for diagnostic analysis across the business, Required.
• Experience working in a cloud environment, Required.
• A minimum of 2 years of applied project experience showcasing digital transformation or data management in an educational or project setting, Required.
• Knowledge of Ryder's business and supply chain domain.
• Experience working within a collaborative team environment.
• Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, MBA, or a related field, Preferred.
• Familiarity with object-oriented development stacks (.NET), Preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in an individual contributor role as a key team member, Preferred.
