This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Evaluate business needs and convert them into scalable data solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and governance teams to advance enterprise data projects.
• Conduct data profiling, discovery, and quality assessments across various data domains.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through sophisticated SQL analysis and testing.
• Assist with source-to-target mappings and the documentation of data lineage.
• Detect data anomalies, investigate their root causes, and suggest improvements.
• Manage metadata, business definitions, and data dictionaries.
• Work alongside governance teams to uphold naming standards, data quality processes, and metadata management.
• Engage in design reviews, impact assessments, and change management activities.
• Over 10 years of experience in data modeling, analysis, management, or related fields.
• Proven expertise in analyzing complex datasets and converting business requirements into data solutions.
• Advanced SQL capabilities for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in data profiling, quality analysis, and validation.
• Understanding of metadata management, lineage, and data governance practices.
• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Data Analytics, or a similar discipline.
• Proficiency in English is essential.
• Must possess authorization to work in the United States.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Digital Banking is an advantage.
• Python expertise for data analysis, profiling, or automation is a plus.
• Familiarity with semi-structured data formats like JSON is beneficial.
• Exposure to data cataloging, metadata management, or governance tools is advantageous.
• Experience in supporting enterprise cloud data modernization initiatives is a bonus.
