Data Analyst, Commercial Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct both recurring and one-time analyses across client reporting, performance guarantees, dashboards, and other commercial priorities.

• Gain a deep understanding of Virta’s value model and implement measurement frameworks to assess, verify, and convey client outcomes.

• Create dashboards and analyses that highlight trends, address business inquiries, and guide client and commercial decision-making.

• Collaborate with Client Success, Commercial, Finance, Product, and Analytics teams to convert complex questions into analytical strategies, insights, and client-ready narratives.

• Enhance metric definitions, documentation, data quality, and establish repeatable workflows.

• Leverage automation and AI to boost speed and reliability.

• Assist with regular reporting cycles and progressively take ownership of multiple commercial analytics workflows.

• Identify enhancements for dashboards, documentation, data quality, and workflow efficiency.

• Offer recommendations or insights that support Product or Commercial decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a business analyst, analytics, or data-centric role.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Capable of clearly defining metrics and ensuring consistency through documentation and governance.

• Systems-oriented mindset with a proven history of enhancing or automating repeatable processes.

• Excellent communication skills with experience in translating complex data into clear insights for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Experience in building dashboards using BI tools such as Looker or similar is advantageous.

• Experience in supporting client-facing analytics or value reporting is a plus.

• Familiarity with modern data stack tools like dbt, data modeling concepts, and version-controlled analytics workflows is preferable.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Must adhere to security and privacy procedures for sensitive patient information as governed by HIPAA.
