Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain dashboards related to spending, card operations, support, and go-to-market strategies.

• Take full ownership of dashboards, encompassing metric definitions, data quality assurance, and refresh reliability.

• Execute SQL queries directly on the core banking database and other production data sources.

• Perform in-depth analyses on demand regarding decline code patterns, cohort behaviors, funnel drop-offs, campaign effectiveness, and operational discrepancies.

• Transform analytical insights into actionable recommendations and decisions, clearly stating confidence levels.

• Consistently define and document metrics across various teams.

• Assist with regulatory and internal reporting through analytics.

• Streamline repetitive data extraction and reporting processes through automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in SQL, including complex joins, window functions, and Common Table Expressions (CTEs) on large transactional databases.

• Experience in creating dashboards using BI tools such as Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Knowledge of Python or R for analytical tasks beyond SQL capabilities.

• Ability to refine ambiguous business inquiries into clear, answerable questions while effectively communicating data limitations.

• Comfortable collaborating directly with operations, product, and commercial teams.

• A background in fintech, payments, or banking is preferred.

• Familiarity with card transaction data, authorization processes, or scheme reporting is a plus.

• Exposure to KSA financial services and SAMA reporting standards is advantageous.

• Experience in workflow automation using tools like n8n, Airflow, or similar is a bonus.
