Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Extract, cleanse, and validate data from various databases and other sources.

• Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and potential opportunities.

• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders.

• Write SQL queries to facilitate analysis and reporting.

• Ensure data quality and document data definitions.

• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Assist with ad hoc data requests.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be taken into account.

• Over 2 years of experience in data analysis.

• Proficient in SQL with experience in relational databases.

• Skilled in Excel and at least one reporting tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or BusinessObjects.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Proficient in using common office equipment, including computers, phones, scanners, and printers.
