Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Utilize Doximity's vast datasets to pinpoint and categorize the behavioral trends of medical professionals on our platform.

• Take a pivotal role in developing both product-oriented and client-facing analytics.

• Contribute to the data team strategy by collaborating with product leaders and managers. Engage actively in the implementation and some planning of the organizational data team strategy.

• Work alongside a team of product managers, analysts, and developers to define and guide data projects from data ingestion through analysis to actionable recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a data analyst or data scientist.

• Strong understanding of statistical principles, particularly exploratory data analysis techniques and probability theory.

• Proficient in SQL to construct and assess complex queries involving multiple tables and data relationships.

• Exceptional visualization and storytelling abilities to clearly and compellingly present results and solutions to stakeholders.

• Skilled in using Python data analysis libraries such as Pandas and Numpy, with a foundational understanding of object-oriented programming concepts in relation to Python.

• Previous experience with distributed data processing concepts and practices (e.g., working with columnar data stores, leveraging Spark, etc.).

• Quick learner with a strong curiosity and enthusiasm for data.
