Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Aid in the upkeep of business reports and dashboards

• Monitor user interactions, content publication, views, engagement, and retention metrics

• Detect anomalies and engage in root-cause analysis

• Examine user journeys encompassing browsing, liking, commenting, following, and content creation

• Leverage user segmentation, funnel analysis, and retention analysis to uncover opportunities for enhancing user experience and conversion rates

• Assess content formats, topics, and creator performance

• Deliver data-backed support for content operations, creator incentive programs, and community initiatives

• Assist in data preparation and performance evaluation for product features, operational campaigns, and A/B testing

• Summarize insights and propose enhancements

• Extract and evaluate data for product and operations teams

• Engage in event-tracking validation, metric definition and documentation, as well as data quality assessments

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a master’s degree or higher

• Preference for candidates majoring in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline

• Proficient in SQL, including multi-table joins, grouping, and aggregation

• Strong Excel capabilities for data preparation and analysis

• Basic understanding of statistics

• Familiarity with funnel and retention analysis

• Ability to extract clear, evidence-based insights from data

• Strong enthusiasm for content-driven community products, user behavior, content distribution, and creator ecosystems

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy

• Excellent communication, learning, and execution skills

• Preferred experience with Python, R, or BI tools for data analysis and visualization

• Previous internship, coursework, project, or competition experience in data analytics is preferred

• Experience in content creation, community operations, or campus media management is a plus

• Availability to work at least four days a week for a minimum of six consecutive months is preferred
