D365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead and assist in comprehensive D365 Finance & Operations implementations, which encompass requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

• Serve as a functional subject matter expert for one or more D365 F&O modules.

• Perform business process analysis and convert requirements into functional design documents.

• Configure D365 F&O modules in alignment with business needs and Microsoft best practices.

• Collaborate with technical consultants and developers on customizations, integrations, and data migrations.

• Support UAT planning and execution, including the creation of test cases, defect triage, and resolution.

• Provide end-user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

• Offer post-go-live support and recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Ensure adherence to governance, security, and data standards.

• Advise stakeholders on system capabilities and process enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a D365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant.

• Strong practical experience with at least one core D365 F&O module.

• In-depth understanding of ERP business processes and cross-functional interdependencies.

• Proven experience with full lifecycle ERP implementations.

• Capability to convert complex business requirements into functional system designs.

• Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall delivery models.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, documentation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to function independently as well as collaborate within a cross-functional team.

• Proficient in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

• Bachelor's degree is required.

• Must be available to work during EST hours.

• Successful completion of a background investigation for U.S. employment is necessary.

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications in Finance, Supply Chain, or related fields are highly desirable.

• Experience with SQL Reporting Services or Microsoft Power Platform is highly desirable.

• Background in data migration, integrations, and reporting; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.

• Consulting or client-facing experience, relevant industry experience, and experience with multi-entity, multi-currency, or global implementations are preferred.
