This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Support the sales teams during technical pre-sales engagements by participating in customer meetings, conducting demos, responding to RfX, and facilitating proof of concept activities.

β€’ Utilize your cybersecurity expertise to assess client needs and implement the most appropriate Fortinet solutions.

β€’ Assist partners and customers in designing optimal security and network architectures tailored to their specific requirements.

β€’ Gradually assume responsibility for various technical areas or solutions.

β€’ Collaborate with senior Systems Engineers, Consulting System Engineers (CSEs), Solution Architects, and partners on complex opportunities.

β€’ Lead customer workshops, technical presentations, and enablement initiatives.

β€’ Continuously enhance and maintain your knowledge of Fortinet technologies, integrations, and industry trends.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ 3–5+ years of experience in Cyber Security or Network Security (such as firewalling, SOC, SecOps, cloud security, network engineering).

β€’ Strong grasp of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, routing, switching, SDN) and security concepts (NGFW, IDS/IPS, encryption).

β€’ Interest in roles that are customer-facing, pre-sales, or consulting-oriented.

β€’ Excellent communication skills and a desire to enhance presentation and workshop capabilities.

β€’ Self-motivated attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.

β€’ High degree of personal responsibility and ownership over your customer projects.

β€’ Fluency in both German and English, with confidence in presenting in both languages, is essential.

β€’ Familiarity with FortiOS or similar security platforms is a plus.

β€’ Exposure to one or more of the following areas: Data center architectures (ACI, NSX-T), Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Security Operations (SIEM, SOAR, automation).
