Cybersecurity Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with leading subject matter experts in the cybersecurity field to deliver essential services.

• Engage in comprehensive in-house training programs.

• Participate in projects aimed at enhancing security knowledge and skills.

• Acquire hands-on technical development experience.

• Gain practical experience in security response.

• Get involved in team-based collaborative projects.

• Shadow various teams and roles within the organization.

• Attend vendor-led training sessions and certification activities.

• Work 25–29 hours per week, primarily from 11am–4pm EST, Monday through Friday.

• Participate in mandatory in-person onboarding in Tampa, Florida, from January 11–14, 2027.

• Complete a 2.5-hour virtual technical assessment if selected.

• Undergo a 1-hour technical interview if selected.

• Be evaluated for potential placement after fulfilling all requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be physically located within the United States for the entire duration of the internship.

• Available for full-time employment no later than September 2027.

• Required to attend mandatory in-person onboarding in Tampa, Florida.

• Have a basic understanding of information technology, networking, operating systems, and security principles.

• Resume and application should clearly demonstrate this knowledge.

• Display a genuine passion for information security.

• Be motivated and eager to acquire new skills.

• Willingness to learn and utilize AI-enabled tools.

• Show demonstrated efforts toward entering the cybersecurity field, which may include obtaining certifications, attending training sessions, pursuing formal education, participating in industry organizations, or contributing to personal or industry projects.

• Possess a personal computing device and have access to high-speed internet during working hours.

• Must be largely available between 11am–4pm EST, Monday through Friday.

• Candidates residing in Alaska, California, Hawaii, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Washington, or Wyoming are not eligible.
