This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain scripts and automation processes that enhance security protocols within security-focused and other IT systems.

• Collaborate with senior engineers to build and sustain integrations among various security tools and platforms.

• Design dashboards, reports, and technical documentation for stakeholders to monitor security operations deliverables, trends, and advancements in security posture.

• Assist with incident response and other security operations activities through automation.

• Acquire and implement DevOps and agile methodologies as a member of the security engineering team.

• Contribute to the automation and fortification of Conduent’s global cybersecurity efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.

• 5 years of pertinent work experience.

• Proficiency in writing and debugging Python code; academic projects, internships, or personal endeavors are acceptable.

• Understanding of version control systems, such as Git.

• General knowledge of cybersecurity acquired through coursework, labs, or certifications is preferred.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication capabilities.

• A desire to learn and the ability to collaborate with global teams across different time zones.

• Experience through internships, co-op programs, or projects in security, IT, or software development is a plus.

• Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR platforms, like Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM, or ITSM tools, such as ServiceNow, is advantageous.

• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, threat intelligence, or vulnerability management is preferred.

• Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies is a bonus.

• Preferred certifications include CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or other relevant security or cloud certifications.
