This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +5 more states.
• Oversee daily operations and forensic activities within the IT Security program.
• Supervise patch management, vulnerability assessments, threat detection and analysis, along with the remediation of security incidents.
• Keep abreast of emerging security threats and proactively communicate with leadership.
• Direct IT Security project initiatives and conduct root cause analysis.
• Create and maintain identity and access management solutions and related policies.
• Ensure the principle of least-privileged access is upheld and develop future identity and access management requirements.
• Formulate, review, and conduct annual testing of data loss prevention controls.
• Identify deficiencies and enhance controls, configurations, and procedures to safeguard confidential data storage and transmission.
• Perform due diligence assessments for new vendors and ensure necessary security measures are implemented.
• Conduct annual evaluations for critical vendors and manage the security due diligence process.
• Act as an expert-level resource for complex technical security issues impacting end users.
• Design, propose, and implement effective solutions.
• Document resolution phases, testing outcomes, optimal solutions, and follow-up communications.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned within the role's scope.
• A college degree or equivalent educational background that, combined with industry experience, equips the applicant to fulfill job requirements.
• Outstanding customer service experience.

• Proactive mindset and strong work ethic.
• Ability to establish and sustain relationships with colleagues, vendors, and professional contacts.
• Understanding of and dedication to the values of Emprise Bank.
• Comprehensive knowledge of SIEM platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of malware applications, including Windows Defender and Symantec.
• Proven expertise in threat detection and analysis.
• Familiarity with patch management systems.
• Understanding of Active Directory.
• Preferred familiarity with VMware, Hypervisor, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and Office 365.
