Cyber Security Analyst, Germany

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Ensure the secure functioning of IT and OT systems while safeguarding them against cyber threats.

• Monitor security-related events and evaluate vulnerabilities.

• Develop technical and organizational strategies.

• Acquire and coordinate expertise from external service providers internally.

• Collaborate with IT, OT, QA, and Compliance teams.

• Convert regulatory requirements such as NIS2 and GxP into actionable security processes.

• Assist in initiatives aimed at enhancing security awareness.

• Act as a contact point for innovation, further development, and optimization of key security technologies, including network security, IAM, endpoint security, and PAM.

• Aid in the detection, prioritization, documentation, and escalation of cybersecurity incidents.

• Continuously refine security operations processes and playbooks.

⛳️ Requirements

• You must be domiciled and registered in Germany (primary residence).

• You have successfully completed a degree, preferably in Computer Science, IT Security, or Business Informatics (or a comparable qualification).

• You possess at least three years of professional experience in cybersecurity.

• You hold a minimum of one relevant certification (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, ISO 27001, SOC, or Incident Response certification).

• You are fluent in German (at least C1 level) and have a good command of English.
