Cyber Project Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assists in breach response operations involving compromised datasets.

• Identifies affected individuals.

• Prepares notification deliverables.

• Participates in an on-call rotation.

• Conducts contact discovery and breach analysis in both on-call and standard work environments.

• Coordinates the intake, processing, and analysis of datasets for hosting purposes.

• Extracts, classifies, and validates sensitive data, including PII and PHI.

• Develops notification lists and supports regulatory as well as client-facing reporting.

• Performs and maintains consistent quality control and documentation across all deliverables, including analysis and remediation files.

• Collaborates with project managers and technical teams to adhere to deadlines.

• Aids in procedure development and ongoing process improvement.

• Complies with standard operating procedures and chain of custody requirements.

• Offers ongoing consultation to case teams regarding incident response related document review and data mining workflows.

• Proactively updates clients, partners, and internal teams on ongoing project status and guidance.

• Completes additional tasks assigned by management as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.

• Over 3 years of experience in handling data operations or reviews in legal technology, cyber, or eDiscovery.

• Comfortable working with both structured and unstructured data.

• Capable of communicating effectively and tactfully, both verbally and in writing, to all relevant technical and non-technical stakeholders, including attorneys, client support staff, and internal team members.

• Familiarity with breach response concepts, handling of PII and PHI, and eDiscovery workflows, including the evolution of product offerings and changing dynamics/expectations.

• Proficient in Windows operating systems and the Office product suite.

• Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Able to work effectively under pressure in time-sensitive situations and prioritize multiple projects with similar deadlines, sometimes requiring extended hours.

• The following skills are preferred but not mandatory:

• Understanding of the electronic discovery reference model (EDRM).

• Experience with Relativity or similar review platforms.

• Familiarity with OCR, data validation, and dataset normalization.

• Relativity Certified Administrator certification.

• Knowledge of scripting, data manipulation, or reporting tools.
