This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
• Establish strategic partnerships with Optiv clients by engaging in essential customer-facing activities, which include ongoing face-to-face relationship development and efforts related to customer satisfaction.
• Serve as an individual contributor and act as a senior leader in delivery and services.
• Collaborate with delivery teams and clients to formulate plans for achieving engagement objectives, ensuring compliance with professional standards while addressing potential risks associated with the engagement.
• Provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members in real-time.
• Deliver effective services grounded in a deep understanding of complex cybersecurity architectures and technologies, applying this knowledge to client situations and environments.
• Leverage extensive knowledge of the client's industry and business to identify technological advancements and assess their impacts on the client's operations.
• Execute project management and team leadership, fostering teamwork and accountability among engagement team members, while utilizing current technologies and tools to enhance the quality of deliverables and services.
• Comprehend Optiv's service lines and actively evaluate how Optiv can meet client needs.
• Generate innovative insights for clients, adapting methods and practices to suit operational team requirements while contributing to thought leadership publications.
• Clearly understand business requirements and plan for optimal resource utilization, including managing change requests and risk planning.
• Improve service delivery through regular interaction with end users and business sponsors.
• Identify process gaps and recommend preventive or corrective actions as necessary.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Information Technology, Information Security/Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.
• Between 4-7 years of experience in service delivery management.
• 4-7 years of experience in Project Management.
• 4-7 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Knowledge or expertise in various security domains, including IAM/PAM, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, vulnerability management, incident response, and governance.
• Excellent business acumen, project management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the Services organization as a whole.
• Proven ability to create detailed assessment reports.
• Ability to effectively work with clients and navigate challenging situations while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction.
• Proficient in conveying complex technical security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
• Team-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities, and outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within teams.
• Ability to lead and mentor others, with a willingness to collaborate and share knowledge with team members.
• Openness to travel to meet client requirements.
• Valid driver's license in the US.
• The ideal candidate must hold or be willing to pursue relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and/or CISA.
