This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Establish and maintain essential relationships with current customers through regular inbound and outbound communications, including calls and emails, along with continuous support.
• Cultivate effective customer relationships that address long-term business needs and promote retention.
• Address customer inquiries, which encompass tier-one clinical questions, order processing, invoice queries, payment distribution, claims or denials, and general service requests.
• Facilitate timely invoice payments and collections for a designated portfolio of accounts.
• Lead and engage in customer conference calls.
• Offer customer education regarding process guidance and best practices.
• Work collaboratively with teams across United Allergy Services to address customer issues.
• Adhere to legal, regulatory, and corporate policy standards.
• Carry out other related tasks as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or a high school diploma with a minimum of two years of experience in customer or patient support.
• A minimum of two years of experience in patient scheduling or billing in a high-volume healthcare setting, clinical operations within an allergy center, or payer relations.
• Experience in at least two of the following areas: patient scheduling, billing, clinical operations within an allergy center, or payer relations is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in managing and resolving issues in a high-touch customer service environment, both in person and via phone.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Capacity to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
• Experience in achieving or surpassing quotas and performance metrics is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database software.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Salesforce is mandatory.
• Ability to type at least 30 words per minute.
• High school diploma or a pathway to a bachelor's degree as specified.
• Willingness to comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and corporate policy requirements.
