Customer Support Analyst, Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deliver customer support focusing on accounting processes, aiding in data interpretation, responding to inquiries, and ensuring a consultative and effective customer experience.

• Offer assistance with accounting-related inquiries.

• Provide direction on accounting entries and reconciliations.

• Help analyze trial balances and financial statements.

• Address questions regarding ancillary tax obligations.

• Detect and rectify accounting discrepancies.

• Guarantee the quality and clarity of the guidance offered.

• Record and follow up on customer interactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Understanding of specific tax regulations.

• Intermediate expertise in accounting software.

• Strong knowledge of ancillary tax obligations.

• Basic understanding of ICMS tax rate differentials, advance tax payments, and ICMS tax substitution calculations.

• Capability to prepare accounting reports.

• Familiarity with tax legislation.

• Skills to analyze and prepare financial statements.

• Basic awareness of the single-phase PIS and COFINS tax collection regime.

• Understanding of ICMS legislation and state agreements.

• Knowledge of procedures for recording incoming and outgoing electronic invoices.

• Experience in customer service.

• Familiarity with tax routines under the Simples Nacional and Presumed Profit regimes.

• Experience with omnichannel customer support tools.

• Intermediate skills in tax analysis and calculations.

• Knowledge of issuing service invoices, withholding taxes, service codes, and taxation municipalities.

• Understanding of ISS legislation and municipal and federal tax incentives, particularly concerning service exports.

• Intermediate knowledge of the Fator R tax incentive.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
