This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Develop and oversee a high-performing Customer Success function on the West Coast.
• Assist strategic enterprise clients in enhancing adoption, retention, and growth.
• Collaborate with Customer Success Managers on intricate challenges and strategies for significant, high-risk enterprise accounts.
• Establish trusted executive relationships and participate in customer discussions when leadership is required.
• Personally manage key strategic customer relationships as needed.
• Recruit and onboard the remaining Customer Success Managers for the West Coast team.
• Mentor and nurture team members through one-on-ones, development plans, and skill enhancement.
• Foster a high-accountability, supportive team culture.
• Execute forecasting, account health assessments, and systematic risk reviews.
• Create replicable Customer Success processes encompassing onboarding, quarterly business reviews, adoption, retention, and growth.
• Proactively identify risks, address issues, and enhance team operations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Support, Technical Account Managers, Renewals, and Go-To-Market leaders.
• Work together with Customer Success leaders across the US East, EMEA, and Scaled Customer Success.
• Contribute to global Customer Success projects and scalable methodologies.
• 2–3+ years of experience in people management.
• Proven history of recruiting, developing, and retaining Customer Success talent.
• 7–10 years of experience in Customer Success, Professional Services, Account Management, or other client-facing roles.
• Experience supporting large, intricate, high-risk enterprise clients.
• Background in the tech industry with relevant enterprise subject-matter expertise.
• Understanding of the needs and expectations of technical buyers and customers.
• Proficient in running forecasts, account health assessments, and structured risk reviews.
• A builder mindset with a readiness to tackle problems directly.
• Low-ego teamwork and a focus on process improvement.
• Familiarity with automation and AI is a plus.
• Prior experience holding Customer Success leadership roles across multiple companies is a plus.
• Must reside in Washington, California, Colorado, or Texas.
• Must have the right to work in the US; visa support is not available for countries other than Germany.
• English is the primary language of the company.
