
Customer Solutions Manager – Technical Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Sales and Business Development to craft and present customized technical solutions
• Facilitate technical workshops, proofs of concept, pilots, and demonstrations for clients
• Serve as a technical authority in RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, providing comprehensive and clear proposals
• Interact with enterprises, public sector organizations, and research institutions to pinpoint use cases
• Convert customer requirements into actionable insights for Product and R&D teams
• Establish connections with customer technical teams and function as a trusted advisor
• Assist customers throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial discussions to final deployment
• Participate in research collaborations, particularly with institutions based in the US and national laboratories
• Represent IQM at conferences, industry events, and customer meetings throughout North America
• PhD in physics, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, with a strong emphasis on quantum computing
• Comprehensive understanding of quantum computing along with practical experience in algorithms or applications
• Proven experience in a customer-facing or applied role such as solutions engineering, consulting, or technical sales
• Ability to articulate complex subjects clearly to both technical experts and business stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a structured approach to work
• Comfortable collaborating across teams and managing various stakeholders
• Proficient in English
• Familiarity with HPC, AI, or cloud environments is an advantage
• Knowledge of quantum ML, simulation, or optimization is a plus
• Experience with US government entities or national laboratories is highly advantageous
