This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Create and execute workflows, agents, and integrations on Wand for real-time customer scenarios.
• Transform one-time builds into reusable frameworks: templates, starter kits, and internal tools that other CEs/SEs can utilize.
• Take ownership of technical excellence: ensuring the performance, reliability, and auditability of your deliverables.
• Assist customers in articulating clear technical hypotheses: what must be validated for them to proceed with a purchase.
• Develop lightweight proofs, benchmarks, and evaluations that convincingly determine, “Does this genuinely function for our data and processes?”
• Establish straightforward metrics for before/after scenarios: time savings, reduction in errors, or volume managed.
• Collaborate with Sales to shape and present credible demos and pilots that highlight Wand’s unique features.
• Contribute to the design and execution of onboarding programs: initial workflows, training sessions, office hours, and support for power users.
• Troubleshoot and address customer-facing issues, collaborating closely with core Engineering when necessary.
• Provide Python scripts, API workflows, and reference architectures that exemplify “the Wand way” of building.
• Over 5 years of experience in a hands-on technical position such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Customer/Field Engineer, or a related role, directly engaging with enterprise clients.
• Strong practical engineering capabilities: Proficient in writing Python in a professional setting (scripts, services, ETL, automation).
• Experience with API integrations, webhooks, and various data sources (files, databases, SaaS tools).
• Ability to design simple and robust systems while troubleshooting real-world failures.
• Experience in building with LLMs or applied AI systems: Prompting, RAG, or orchestration of agents/workflows.
• You have successfully delivered at least one real application, prototype, or internal tool utilizing an LLM or similar model in a production environment or significant pilot.
• Comfortable interacting with customers: Can navigate an architecture diagram, demonstrate live workflows, and address challenging questions confidently.
• Proven ability to manage all phases of the lifecycle: discovery/solution design, proof/pilot development, rollout, and post-launch refinement.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Flexible work arrangements
