This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Serve as a connection point between Labcorp, our customer base, and patients.
• Address routine customer inquiries regarding products or services through inbound and outbound calls, as well as the Internet.
• Engage with customers in a courteous, professional manner, following established protocol procedures.
• Ask questions, clarify, and confirm customer needs and their understanding of available solutions.
• Offer additional education and information to customers as required.
• Qualify and onboard new customers seeking Labcorp products and services through inbound requests.
• Utilize various databases to investigate complex issues and inquiries.
• Inform clients of test results promptly and accurately.
• Examine test forms for accuracy and address any discrepancies.
• Take part in initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and overall business performance.
• Provide administrative support for medical record management, maintain CRM data, and ensure internal records comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Achieve productivity, quality, attendance, and other key performance metrics in a structured, monitored setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 months of customer service experience.
• A private workspace that complies with HIPAA standards.
• Agreement to include home address in case reporting as required by CMS.
• Minimum internet speed of 100 Mbps.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Salesforce.com and/or Laboratory Information Systems.
• A high level of professionalism and a strong commitment to customer service.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced production environment while meeting established turnaround times.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role.
• Willingness to work overtime or alternative shifts based on business needs.
• Capability to work remotely in a dynamic, multi-site environment.
• Preferred: Associate's degree.
• Preferred: 3 months or more of experience in a contact center or call center.
• Preferred: 3 months or more of experience in the healthcare sector, such as in a physician's office or hospital.
