This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Ensure that healthcare accounts assigned by clients are billed and settled accurately and promptly.
• Provide assistance to patients regarding billing questions, payments, payment plans, claims, benefits, and coverage.
• Handle inbound and outbound telephone inquiries by following standard procedures and scripts.
• Collect information, conduct research, and address customer inquiries effectively.
• Offer appropriate resolution options in a timely manner.
• Educate customers and patients about available services and evaluate their needs.
• Organize work to guarantee proper phone coverage, prioritize calls, and escalate issues as necessary.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of departmental goals, making recommendations to management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• High school diploma or a college degree from an accredited institution.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
• Two to five years of experience in medical revenue cycle management is desirable.
• Practical or classroom knowledge of medical concepts is required.
• Solid understanding of the medical revenue cycle.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance record.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Ability to perform tasks in alignment with the company's mission and values.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
