Customer Service Representative – Business Insurance Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Engage in a high volume of customer interactions through phone, email, mail, and fax to promote and renew assigned coverage(s) for existing Pearl Insurance clients.

• Market ancillary product(s) to clients.

• Assist with the application and underwriting process alongside the client and internal underwriter.

• Dispatch applications to clients; finalize necessary applications and forms; prepare submission details.

• Follow up with clients to gather additional information required for underwriting completion.

• Present quotes or estimates to prospective clients and successfully close sales.

• Strive to gather market intelligence when unable to secure renewals.

• Record sales activities in the CRM system.

• Cultivate and maintain customer relationships after the first year of coverage by addressing questions, needs, and requests.

• Provide support to other Client Relations Account Representatives in their absence.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, or a related discipline.

• Prior experience in sales and/or customer service, ideally within the insurance sector; or a suitable combination of education and experience.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively at all levels within an organization.

• A Property and Casualty insurance license is required (or the capacity to obtain one).
