This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Service diagnostic equipment for medical devices in the Corpus Christi region.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems at customer locations with minimal supervision.
• Provide timely and effective repair services.
• Train operators to ensure optimal system operation and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Oversee financial performance within the territory, focusing on revenue generation, expense management, and inventory oversight.
• Manage company assets, which include a company vehicle, mobile phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Accurately perform necessary administrative tasks.
• Work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Fulfill vendor credentialing requirements to gain access to client locations.
• A minimum of a high school diploma is required; a technical associate degree or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in servicing, conducting preventative maintenance, and modifying medical diagnostic equipment at customer sites.
• Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Proficient in using tools and service testing equipment.
• General understanding of electricity, power supplies, and grounding techniques.
• Proficient in network applications and tools, including eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, and the NAM Customer Service website Engineer Tools.
• Capability to work independently and as part of an established team.
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence is required.
• Ability to drive independently during both day and night with a clean driving record.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and performing tasks such as walking, climbing ladders/step stools, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, reaching high, and fine-grasping.
• Good vision and ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent judgment in managing customer relations and company resources.
• Strong proficiency in mechanics, electrical systems, chemistry, and software technology related to instrument systems.
• Experience with electronics, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Must meet relevant client vendor credentialing requirements, which may include identification verification, criminal background checks, drug screenings, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training.
• Must be able to work with controlled technology under U.S. export control laws.
