This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +3 more states.
• Handles incoming phone inquiries at a Claims Contact Center.
• Initiates claims for auto and homeowners by gathering initial loss details from agents, insured individuals, and third parties.
• Provides clients with a clear explanation of the claims process.
• May approve services such as roadside assistance and rental vehicles.
• Responsible for the prompt and accurate resolution of customer inquiries related to the status of ongoing claims.
• Ensures all customer interactions are thoroughly and accurately recorded in the claims file.
• Enhances job knowledge through ongoing training and applies new insights to daily responsibilities.
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening abilities.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Takes personal responsibility for actions and outcomes.
• Demonstrates flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
• Strong technical skills, including the ability to manage multiple systems, computer interfaces, and communication platforms simultaneously.
• Capable of troubleshooting connectivity issues when necessary.
• Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute with 90% accuracy.
• Previous customer service experience is highly desirable.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
