Customer Service Assistant – Food Testing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide support to national and international clients while assisting with order processing in the food analysis sector.

• Prepare, review, and track invoices, credit notes, and other billing activities.

• Oversee outstanding receivables, manage dunning processes, and address payment and invoice discrepancies.

• Aid in customs clearance, scheduling, and inquiries from international customers.

• Collaborate closely with project leads, sample management, and internal stakeholders.

• Manage general administrative duties, including master data maintenance in SAP, processing travel expenses, and handling purchasing tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed commercial training program or an equivalent qualification (e.g., hotel management clerk, industrial clerk, office management clerk, or similar).

• Proficient in MS Office applications; prior experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is advantageous.

• Strong customer service orientation and focus.

• Excellent command of the German language (C1) and good proficiency in English (B2).

• Outstanding communication abilities, teamwork skills, and a friendly demeanor.
