This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implements efficient and effective base and merchandising initiatives to achieve the best possible return on investment for Kraft Heinz and the customer while adhering to budget constraints.
• Engages in communication and influences the execution of business plans to facilitate exceptional implementation within the team and with customers.
• Collaborates with customers, fostering relationships at all levels to thoroughly understand the business, market dynamics, and customer strategies to positively influence business growth.
• Carries out programs that align with customer strategies to attain remarkable outcomes while adhering to Business Unit priorities and objectives.
• Provides regular updates to management regarding business trends, competitive activities, changes in customer-specific strategies, key marketplace developments, and other business-related matters.
• Analyzes and utilizes data and insights to enhance business results and identify areas for improvement.
• Utilizes available resources and scale to enhance executional excellence across cross-functional business planning in Category Leadership, Supply Chain, Finance, and Shopper Marketing.
• Leads cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to formulate plans and execute initiatives with both UNFI Partners and Retailer Partners across category objectives.
• Plays a significant role in business reviews and customer meetings, including annual category evaluations.
• Collaborates with the National Planning team to effectively oversee volume and trade forecasting.
• Works cross-functionally to develop, advocate for, and implement new Ways of Working and process enhancements across the entire UNFI Team.
• Manages business processes and leads a team accountable for a $500MM desk.
• Oversees and develops a direct team of five Customer Sales Managers.
• Acts as a leader within the broader UNFI Team – mentoring and coaching others, sharing best practices, and collaborating on business growth opportunities to meet targets.
• Leverages the advantages of diversity – in thought, background, and experience.
• Demonstrated experience in customer/account management within a CPG company, showcasing a customer-first approach.
• Comprehension of the sales landscape, preferably with experience in cultivating customer relationships.
• Strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking abilities.
• Solid financial acumen – understanding profit and revenue drivers with proficiency in trade deployment analysis.
• A strong drive for results and a commitment to team success.
• Possesses polished interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and presentation) with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively.
• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and proprietary sales systems such as Nielsen, IRI, Spark, and Tableau.
